I will show you a tool that can be used in the process of teaching grammar.

There is some technology can teach us to teach grammar one of them that is classmarker. ClassMarker is an application for creating online quizzes that can be used for free. This application can only be accessed online. The classmarker access address is on the http://www.classmarker.com/ page.

We can use this application with the way we make questions about grammar and ask students to do it online through the site's own classmarker.

After registering, we can choose the type of the question as shown in the image below.

We can make as many practice questions as our friends want. This is an example of a question I made by ClassMarker.

In this semester, I learned about several technological tools that can help us in learning activities, especially for us as teachers later. In this article, I will show you a tool that can be used in the process of teaching vocabulary. 

There are many technology tools that can help us in the teaching process especially in teaching vocabulary. We can use one of the technologies that is HotPotatos application. HotPotatos is an application for creating question banks. The function of HotPotatos is to create interactive, web-based teaching material. In the HotPotatos application, there are several programs that can help the learning process in students' vocabulary skills, one of which is Jcross.

This is one of my HotPotatos assignments using the Jcross program.

Technology for Teaching Listening

Today I will tell technology friends to teach listening. Which I studied during the TELL course. Actually, there are 2 kinds of technology here that we can use to teach listening.

The first is to record audio, and the second is to post audio. The first application that I recommend to you is Audacity. We can use Audacity to record sound and also edit your voice. So, after you record your voice in Audacity and you want to cut a certain part, you can directly edit it or add music at the beginning or at the end of the audio.

Another website is Podomatic. The Podomatic is a web for posting audio that you have recorded at Audacity and this web that you can create your own Podcast.

Technology for Teaching Speaking

In this article, I want to share my knowledge of what I have learned in the TELL course, especially in Technology for the teaching speaking section.

The technology that we use to teach speaking is Prezi. Do you know what Prezi is? Prezi is software for Internet-based presentations. So, using this software can make it easier for us to explain the material to students who will later take the form of presentations and need in focus. So, there is a possibility that students will be interested in learning like this and we can also ask students to make their own presentations about the subject matter in this Prezi tool which will later be explained by students in front of the class. So, this Prezi tool can help students in the process of speaking skills.

Technology for Teaching Writing

In this article, I will show you a tool that can be used in the process of teaching writing.

Have you heard of WebQuest?

In Technology for teaching writing, there is a tool we can use that is WebQuest. WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented learning format where most or all of the information used by students come from the web. In this case, we can use the Google Site as a WebQuest. Its function is to help you give instructions to students to make essays or something that might be related to writing.

The components of the WebQuest might be like this :1. introduction : tells about the role, the context, what will students do 2. task : related to the main goal of the project, the instruction 3. process : to guide the student4. evaluation : list to check whether the student can do some criteria, could be like peer-assesment5. conclusion : to conclude all the main project means, the impact, etc.

Technology for Teaching Reading

Hello guys!
Here, I returned for a few months. I want to share with you about the activities that I have learned in the 4th semester of the TELL course. There are so many tools of the technology that can help us teach some learning material, especially in teaching reading such as Hot Potatoes. HotPotatoes is an offline application to make friends easier to make questions for students to teach reading skills.

There are 5 types of questions that friends can make.

1. If we want to make questions like multiple choices, we can use JQuiz. We can put the text there so that the question will change to the next question after answering the previous question.

2. JCloze used to make short answers in sentences like this

3.  JMatch, we can create tasks to match something, this is an example

4. JCross is to make crossword puzzles, yes this is an example

5. JMix is ​​to create tasks whose words are scrambled and students must arrange them. You can also have more than 1 correct answer if possible.

6. For the last, the masher is for combining all of the "j-" become one in exercises. but we have to keep the raw file of all of the "j-". so the masher can combine it using that raw file.

Moodle Online Course

In this case, the moodle we use is etcetera. Etcetera is a wоmen's clothing design company. Founded in 2000 by William Rondina, Etcetera is a company sells its clothes through trunk show methods.

In this moodle we collected ICT course assignments. Where later the lecturer will give the value of this moodle too. It can be said that in this moodle we communicate with the lecturer. Because all information related to the world of lectures especially on ICT subjects we can get in this moodle. Such as lecturer information, participants, coursework, grades, and so on.

Choosing 5 Vocabularies from Technology Glossary

We were asked to search for vocabulary related to technology. then, the word is submitted to Moodle (etcetera) complete with a brief explanation, understanding or function of the word. other than that accompanied also by the link which is the source we obtain the vocabulary. Here are some examples:

1. Adobe Photoshop by Debby Priscilla

Adobe Photoshop, or commonly called Photoshop, is an image editor software made by Adobe Systems which is specifically for editing photos/images and making effects. I want to share "How Technology for Learning Writing"

This lesson about Microsoft software is very useful for me, especially in doing my assignments such as making papers, reports and so on. We use software called Microsoft Word. Actually, I have known more about Microsoft Word since middle school and high school, but in ICT lecture material, this added to my knowledge about how to use Microsoft Word.

USE OF MICROSOFT WORD OR FUNCTION IN EDUCATION

As we know, Microsoft Word is used to help create documents in the form of reports or papers. And in Microsoft Word there are functions, namely:

1. Make a neat official letter and standard using the available template facilities.
2. Design books (booklets) easily without thinking about which pages should be on the same sheet. 
3. Make it easy to make brochures multiply without having to divide fields manually. 
4. Make it easy to make the same letter with different destination addresses using the mail merge facility. 
5. Making interesting reports is easier.

Regarding my personal experience in using ms word in learning very much. ms word is one of the most important icons for me as a student. where, almost every subject, task, and other activity requires MS Word as its media.

I will show you some of my tasks that I made using Microsoft Word, hopefully, this is useful.

In this material, my friends and I studied material about reading skills technology. In this material, I use the website's Readability Testing Tool. Readability test, readability formula, or readability metric is a formula to evaluate the readability of text, by calculating syllables, words, and sentences. Readability tests are often used as an alternative to survey the actual statistics of the subject's text reader (readability survey). Word processors have a default readability test, which can be used in editing documents.

In this material, I and my friends learned about some websites that help in practicing speaking techniques and the pronunciation of our English websites including Google Voice, Merriam Webster, and many more websites. But we in this study only use Google Voice and Merriam Webster.

Merriam Webster's is the website very useful for me because I can practice my pronunciation in English and can also know how to pronounce it correctly. We not only can listen to the pronunciation method but we can find out where the words are emphasized with phonetic symbols and also know what the words are.

In my opinion, this material is very useful and good for me. Here, we hear or write subtitles from conversations and listen to how the speakers say it, and also with this website, we can also get a lot of insights from some material by prominent speakers.

Technology for Learning Grammar

Here we learn All about grammar. My lecturer gave several recommendations to learn Grammar, VOA news: grammar TV every day. If you want to visit it, just click this.

This material is very good for me because there are many easy ways and tricks to learning English grammar that I don't know. This website has 3 levels of learning methods ranging from basic, intermediate and advanced levels. Videos on Everyday Grammar VOA can also be downloaded.

• The title video that I have watched in VOA Learning English Everyday Grammar is "Superlatives". In this video, the speakers discuss what is superlative adjectives and its example. According to the speakers of the video, comparatives and superlatives are similar, but superlative adjectives are used when you're comparing more than two things. And superlative adjective compares three or more things or people. It takes the comparison to the highest level. For example, "My mom's cooking is the best" and "My friend is the silliest of everyone I know". 

• In my opinion, when I watched this video there are two people who have a conversation and explain about superlative adjectives. The speakers also said that comparatives and superlatives are similar. And they are using even showing the word on their sentence in the conversation with an easier example. It takes everyone can easier understand the way how to use superlative adjectives in the sentence. And I think that makes it interesting for me. 

• Another fascinating fact is the speakers mention that is don't forget to add "the" before the adjective. Because that is one of the things that I can sometimes forget when making superlative sentences. The channels "British Council Learn English" can be another resource for learning grammar. I want to share "Using Technology for Learning Vocabulary By Quizlet"

This time we learn how to pronounce a few words correctly, what websites are accurate to help learn vocabulary, also find out synonyms of several words, idioms, etc. This material is very useful for me because from me learning how to use the website helps me to remember and understand new vocabulary. On the Quizlet website I can understand and understand the meaning of the vocabulary that I choose, in Quizlet we can practice vocabulary through game-shaped exercises by matching them with the meaning or synonym of the vocabulary.

I graduated from SD N 28 Malapari on 2005-2011. Then I continue my education at MTs N Sridadi on 2011-2014. And my last education at MAN Muara Bulian on 2014-2017. And after I graduated at the senior high school, now I started my education at the University of Jambi.
